CEC is pleased to announce that the cost of a CEC license for Youth C athletes will be reduced by 50% to $75 for this year only, and we will be extending the registration deadline for Youth C to April 16th.
If you have already registered for Regionals, we will issue a refund for 50% of the amount paid. If you have not received the refund by April 20th, please contact Christiane Marceau at ed@climbingcanada.ca

CEC has made this change recognizing that a license for Youth C athletes, unlike other age groups, only provides the opportunity to compete at one event, given there is no National event for this age group.
CEC realizes that affordability of events is important for all our athletes. At the same time, we need to ensure that CEC is a financially viable organization that can continue to conduct high quality events and programming. CEC is in the process of conducting a review of our financial model, which will take time and requires the involvement of many stakeholders, including the Athlete’s Commission. We will share updates as the process progresses, which will be following the completion of the 2022-2023 season.
